Again this year our family started off to RUKA, Kuusamo to spend our Xmas vacation. This year we had a whole week to enjoy the outdoors and Christmas spirit with my family. The weather was great and alot of snow (even though it did snow in the south also, but still...). The dogs liked the long walks we took and afterwards enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and good food.

I had good time to go to the slopes and do some skiing, ah what a joy to be all alone on the slopes and just enjoy the skiing. NICE ;)

We did have one mishap on Christmas Eve over there with Timo and Moses having a small quarrel, resulting in Moses lower eyelid splitting open!!! We called the doctor at Posio who took us in the morning to be stitched. He put 4-5 stitches and at the moment I was satisfied BUT the wound opened again on monday and off to the doctors we were, thank God we were at home already so our "Own" doctor did the repairing with removing all the old stitches and doing the operation all over, finding some "new" cuts that the old doctor didnt see. Now it looks pretty good!!! Thank You Jaana

At the moment the eyelid looks very very nice and you would never think he had anything done on it. We just have to learn from our mistakes and prepare things/situations and make sure this doesnt happen again.
