Today our family did history, in that our whole family left to a dog show (this has only happened in the previous years when we left to Sweden for the "Skokloster" -shows in the year 2007 & 2008). So I was very pleased to drive with the whole "gang" in the car.

We arrived in Laukaa and naturally I bought the cataloque to see who was competing with us. 25 afghans were present with 16 males and 9 females under judge Nicholas White, Ireland. Moses entered the ring and I have to admit I was somewhat scared in what was to happen...or should I say Im always a little scared to enter the ring...

Nicholas White liked my boy so much that he made him BOB and giving him his final CC for the FI Ch -title!!! GREAT!!!

Nicholas White took the group also with my Moses winning that ALSO...I was in the 7th heaven...Now we had a big problem, should we come next day to the BIS-ring cause we had our saluki entered in Karjaa and at the same time I should start preparing Moses for the BIS -ring...plus taking into consideration we have a long way to drive. We decided to come and take part in the BIS-ring and besides we wanted to show our gratefulness for our judge in making us BOB-winners and also give respect for the BIS-judge (Harry Tast, FI).

...sunday came and we got all our work done, with my husband taking Vasi to the 12.7. Karjaa Nat. (judge Tuula Savolainen, FI) with him placing 4th. Kari came home and we left staright to Laukaa. Moses was in a very very "wild" and "childish" mood, the only thing he wanted to do was play around with the other group winners...so in that he didnt place, but I was happy in that he wasnt tired instead he moved with a little bit too much energy inside of him. I learned that I have to tire him down the next time a little bit, before we enter the ring, so that he isnt so "wildish" and "excited"!

I was VERY pleased with the weekend, it was rough but nice. Thanks again to our judge Nicholas White.
