We are the oldest still active Afghan kennel in Finland, first litter in 1961. The prefix Tuohi-Tikan was co-owned by Anna-Leena and Pirkko Konttinen until 2003. Our foundation bitch was Ch Tajmahal Anya (imp. Sweden). In 1966 we imported Int Ch Panameric of Stormhill, who had a strong influence in this kennel and the whole of Scandinavia.We were the leading kennel in the 60’s and 70’s with several top winning afghans through the years. We have exports to Scandinavia, Europe, U.K., Australia, Japan, USA. Pirkko Konttinen is a specialist judge for all sighthound breeds. |
